Our Student Leyla Gaibova won the First Place!

The English language Festival took place in the Music Comedy Theatre on the 14^th of February.

The festival arranged by AZUS Education Abroad Company was aimed to “help school children to learn and improve their English language skills” and “to propagate our history and culture to other nations”.

The preparations started on mid September.

Nigar Ismayilova, ESL teacher, was to do all the primary preparations that include; election of the children that would take part in the competition, giving comprehensive information to the elected participants and preparing these children for the competition. 

On November, 30 ESL Department presented the list of the participants.

The participants were, Gaibova Leyla (grade 9) – a composition and Farah Gasimzadeh (grade XI) song performance.

 Both students were nominated for the finals.

The topic of the composition was “Better learn for Better World”

  To make the performance more effective, our teacher made a music video to the song (Listen To Your Heart) presented by Farah Gasimzadeh (scenario author).

As a result, the awards for the best composition amongst the 9-11 grade students was given to Leyla Gaibova.
