The Guest of Our Centre

       Our school is visited by prominent people from time to time and on November 16 we had the honour to meet Prof.Dr Birsen Tutunis, Director,Faculty of Education ELT Department and Teacher Training and Reseach Center (TRC), Istanbul Aydin University, Turkey. She visited Baku to give a plenary talk at AzETA(Azerbaijan English Teachers Association) 6^th Annual International ELT  Conference the motto of which was “Reacing Out… for Success”. The topic of the plenary talk was “CLIL(Content and Language Integrated Learning)”. Our English teacher Gulshan Samadova also  presented at the conference on the topic “Using Games in ESL classes”. She asked Birsen khanum to pay a visit to our school and the professor kindly agreed.

     Prof.Dr Birsen Tutunis visited the both buildings of our school and was pleasantly impressed by the conditions, created for the children of our school. She paid a visit to Pre-school department and the children greeted her in English. Birsen khanum was welcomed in the Cambridge department of our school and the children of the English department were pleased by her visit. Birsen xanum was kindly met by the administration of the school and the possibilities of furher cooperation were discussed.
