XXI Century EC hosted a Foreign Language Teachers Workshop on 25th of February. We would like to bring into your attention brief information from the organizer of the workshop and some feedback by the attendee teachers.
The main purpose is to share experience for continued professional growth. Another benefit of the workshops is that it stimulates intellectually challenging professional dialogue among teaching colleagues.

Actually this is our first endeavor to get together with the teachers of English language from public, private and International schools. A month ago we sent invitations to schools to participate and felt happy to realize that invitations were accepted and 10 teachers volunteered to present workshops in our Educational Centre. Among the participants are; Public schools â„– 7, 27, Euro Lyceum, Intellect Lyceum, Zarifa Alieva school, The International school of Azerbaijan, Oxford school and British school in Baku.
Since we have 10 presentations our programmer is divided into two sessions with 5 presentations in each.
We’ve got about 80 teachers willing to attend our workshops. They’ll surely benefit their attendance taking to their classrooms the most interesting and appropriate methods of teaching and strategies.
As you know, one of the most invigorating things about teaching is that you never stop learning.

The complexity of the dynamic triangular interplay between teachers and learners and subject matter continually gives birth to an endless number of questions to answer, problems to solve, issues to ponder. Every time you walk into a classroom to teach something, you face some of those issues and if you’re a growing teacher, you learn something. You find out how well a technique works, how to assess a student’s competence, how emotions enter into learning, or how your teaching style affects learners. This discoveries go on and on for lifetime. We are all here to share our teaching experience generously. Teachers hopefully will take with them not only our Certificates but the best memories of sharing joy of teaching and learning .
